OK, anything useful to say about the matches (plus info for summaries, screenies, demos, etc), stick it here!

I think just doubleclick and it should open in steam. Otherwise put it in the tf folder (under programs, steam, steam apps, username, team fortress). There's on demo folder specifically, just dump it in the main tf one. Then in-game type demoui in console and you get a demo playback control you can open the file with.

Stick it into the folder your demos are in (steamapps/username/teamfortress2/tf) - I think thats it anyway, its in the 'tf' folder anyway.

And then open TF2 and in the consolse type 'playdemo <demoname>' the demos available to watch should appear in a list

Btw can we keep this thread clean so we can just see the match results and stuff? I might make another match discussion one, or we could just post stuff in the match scheduling threads hezitate has been making.

I also just had a go at making thisname's demo into a video, by just outputting raw frames from TF2 (will encode them in virtualdub in a sec). Halfway through the demo, at only a low resolution, I realise it's eaten the entire 15GB free on my C drive and stopped recording Will have to move my steam folder to my media drive before I try another video in future....720GB of free space should be enough

edit: also Jag could you give me admin/mod powers or something? Will stop me pestering you to move posts and stuff ^^

2 scouts, 2 soldiers, 1 demo or heavy and a medic. Seems to be the norm.

We went into the game a bit nervous, as we feared the team to be a bit experienced. After some delay at the start due to fcuk not being able to field 6 and getting people outside their roster to fill the numbers, the battle of gravelpit began. We attacked first with the team compo of 2xScouts, Solly, Heavy, Medic and Demo. We took A immediately with little resistance from fcuk. After a little stalling from them, B was capped relatively quickly and we charged C. fcuk used a pyro defense for some reason, but our demo and solly made quick work of them and we capped C. The total time being 2 mins 48 seconds. Defense was pretty straightforward with us fielding an engi for the start. They capped A after some stalling by rob and Poop and then moved onto B, where they fell apart. They were too wide spread to do anything, and our scouts made quick work of their medic leaving the team to be picked apart by our demo and soldier.
Round 2 was much the same, we attacked, they fell. We capped it this time in 3 mins total. Defense wise, they seemed to be a bit more organised, but the skill from our attacking players were too much for them to handle and we defended B without too much hassle. All in all a good game, and the morale should be high going into our first ladder game against the mighty [eXs]. Congrats everyone.

Also, I sort of realised in this match and the last couple, I seem to be kind of ordering everyone around on vent...I mean, as medic obviously I have to call out a lot of stuff, but if I'm talking complete crap about the tactics and when to push or hold, etc etc, please tell me and I'll stop! It's hard to judge, myself, if I'm getting a bit carried away (if anyone's in charge of team tactics when we're playign I guess it's Hez, rather than me)

Medic/solly is always a good guess to tell peopl ehwat to do. Medic has a overview of the situation unlike say scouts who are running away from the group. It's fine be me adel

Yeah, the Medic is always more aware of surroundings than any other class so it makes sense for you to give us tips and order us about!

Well done on the match tonight folks, love playing heavy on granary. FWIW we stuffed our opponents in pool too.

Woo, snuke owning left right and centre We played a PCW right after the game against -cavaliers- who are div3 on ETF2L. Was mainly a bit of a piss around on our side with hez goin scout, rho goin medic, adel goin solly. But we did give them a run for their money tbh. They tried quite hard. Still owned us though

To be fair, medic's the most important class
