snuke v. UTZ| Sun 11th Jan 8.30 Granary - CANCELLED (not enough ppl)

UTZ| have an open challenge up for granary at 8.30 GMT on Sunday the 11th of Jan. Sign up below, and I'll take them up on it.

We need:

Solly:
Heavy: Trane
Demo:
Scout: Grem
Scout:
Medic: Adel (unless anyone else really wants to medic - I don't mind subbing if someone's keen).


We know UTZ are good, so we need ppl playing the classes they're best at, and ideally we could also use some kind of a warm-up game on Granary just before the match as well (perhaps Trane's friends would friendly us again?)

Don't think I can make it. Depends on what happens that weekend as I'll be off camping with Xian, Hez and Fi.

I'm not sure. The sollies and demos can just jump on the middle crates and rain down pain, whilst the scouts can dart in and out quite frequently and take the heavy down. Maybe if we're pushed back to the second cap, heavy might be viable, but especially the start, now that it doesn't have the gates, the fastest one to the middle and the one who holds it, wins the map.

All true but...I've had some very good runs with Trane and Keeny on Granary as heavy, and I'm also thinking in the match the other day the enemy team were actually toughest to deal with when they swapped out a solly for a heavy - suddenly we struggled a lot more to keep the middle. Ok, they weren't very good and it was easy anyway, but still...

Actually, this is kinda pointless discussion anyways. If half of snuke is off camping that weekend, including our two best soldiers, I don't think taking on UTZ is going to be such a great idea. We can organise a match for a different day maybe, doesn't have to be this open challenge on that particular day.

Heh, no thanks. I'm up for hiking, climbing, ski-ing etc in the winter but camping just as camping is too much cold for not enough reason

I'm not one for posting screenies for e-peen reasons, but this is just to back up my case.

Srsly, granary is made for heavies, if a heavy is down low drawing in (non-crit) fire from above, then all the better, but this is one isolated area of a much larger map.

Cannot play.
