Hmm am away at my brothers that night... could sub, he has teh intarwebs and steam, but his broadband is like 256k lol

256k broadband should be OK so long as ping etc is normal. In theory TF2 can run on dial-up, can't it? Not that I would want to try that!

I'm pretty sure I can be there soldier/scout

Safest to say sub, my brother's broadband is down atm... I have a mobile broadband USB stick I use for work but have never tried it for tf2...

So if we have a full team, I'll try to get on as sub just in case. Oh, might not have vent either

I tested some of those mobile broadband dongles recently, and the latency on some of them is insane (like 1000ms ping). I wouldn't try gaming on that!

Broadband is working so I'll check in as sub at about 8-ish

Right so which comms are we gunna use for this match? Our teamspeak (or i can change it to ventrilo within about 30 seconds) or Jonnys?

Get our vent working if you can...

I'm sure if necessary I can dig up an old vent server we could use too.


edit: yeah, for instance if we need to I'm sure we can use the Brudershaft der Verdammnis (german guild wars guild)'s vent. TasH (my old guild) used to share it with them and there's plenty of slots available.
