TY. There are various bridge modules to duplicate forums, so anything posted here will appear there and vice-versa - but I don't know if it will migrate all teh old stuff.

Will look into it. If not, we can just drag the useful stuff with us (so no parrot porn)

Although Jag, the forum is a bit weird Posts seem to be in reverse-order, and there's no notification of new posts/threads in a forum I don't think.

Although I see you've sort of embedded the old forum in here. Which is kinda clever...I didn't know you that could be done. But anyway, in a way, it might be easier to keep using this one since all our posts, stickies and info are here already.

I think it uses too much memory to use this forum and have the other one as well. We could just transfer all the important posts to the new forum.

It's confusing though I can't tell when there's new posts except by going and reading through every thread one-by-one. Backwards.


Jag I'm not trying to have a go at your hard work (really!), and the website looks very professional, but you're/we're trying to replace a perfectly functional forum with a lot of useful information posted on it with a fairly non-functional one to which we're gonna have to copy important info across. It seems more effort than gain. Just sticking a link to this one on the new site, or embedding this one on the new site, would be simpler.

Forum should now show last post at bottom. Newest thread at top (like this one).

Added Latest Posts box to front page (lhs below login)but you need to be logged in to see it...

This forum still embedded in new site but I would like to have only 1 admin site to manage, not 2. Agree with what you say re. the old forum being better - but I am improving new forum day-by-day, bear with it pls.

It'll be worth it in the end, with demos of matches uploadable/downloadable and linked to the results of that match, stuff like that. Can also add streaming if Hez ever gets SourceTV to work
