ED rules/notes
This caught my eye:
ED (12) Cheese
1. As a general rule, ED allows up to 500 grams of cheddar cheese consumption on match day. All other varieties are strictly forbidden
Also, there are a couple of custom maps used for matches...
TF2 (15) Custom Map List & Configs Download Location

http://www.devotii.com/downloads/file/95 - cp_station

So if you haven't got these, it might be worth d/l them and getting some practice in - another reason to have our own server methinks!

Will have to d/l these and try them out this weekend sometime!

Granary pro has the gates removed from the middle. Part of the skill in winning the map is which team gets to the middle first. So sollies and demos, find the shortest route

Is true, I suppose. Also kills Scoutrushing, which is a fairly valid tactic, moreso with the ability to counter with Natascha.

Even before the Natasha, scout rushing was too risky. Anything more than 2 scouts, would be overkill as you would give up fire power. The most used setup that I've seen in 'pro' games is:
2 Scouts
2 Soldiers
1 Demoman
1 Medic
Depending on maps, and whether you're attacking/defending, the setup can be changed somewhat. Say if you're red on Gravelpit, 2 Demo's are key, and 1 of the scout can be replaced by a skilled sniper or an airblast pyro or 1 solly can be replaced by a heavy on Badlands after we cap the middle point etc etc. It's all about setting up the team to counter each situation.

For those a little worried about the Cheese rule, I would recommend some parmasan cheese in the springler form. Place on your thumb and index finger and snort it.
The kick will keep you going.
Not sure if it's mentioned but you must download and app called XRAY before playing. IT's EDs anticheat that basically takes pictures while you play.
If you don't use it, you lose the match.
